VIVI’s Tapas Bar, located on the scenic Revere Beach, offers a lively and dynamic atmosphere with a globally-inspired tapas menu. We are seeking an experienced and dedicated General Manager to join our team. Responsibilities:

Manage day-to-day operations during nights, weekends, and holidays.

Execute hiring, training, scheduling, and managing of all staff members.

Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by maintaining quality standards in food, service, and ambiance. Handle customer complaints or concerns promptly and effectively to maintain a positive reputation for the restaurant.

Oversee a small but dynamic team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.

Maintain a professional restaurant image, including restaurant cleanliness, proper uniforms, and appearance standards.

Ensure positive guest service in all areas.

Provide direction to employees regarding operational and procedural issues.

Exhibit an aptitude for leading, coaching, and driving excellence at every level.

Develop employees by providing ongoing feedback, establishing performance expectations, and conducting performance reviews.

Manage expenses, optimize profitability, monitor inventory levels (including bar inventory), and analyze financial performance while identifying areas for improvement.

Oversee bar operations, ensuring inventory is stocked, orders are placed in a timely manner, and quality service is delivered consistently.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 3 years of experience in restaurant management.

Prior bar experience, including inventory management, ordering, and operations, is preferred.

Comfortable with mentoring team members, staff training, scheduling, POS operations, and experience with reservation platforms.

Proficient in cost analysis and vendor management.

Self-starter with the ability to bring new ideas to the table.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work closely with the Owner and Upper-Management team
